With 25 Top 10 finishes, six wins, and over $1.6 million dollars in bass fishing tournament earnings, Brent Ehrler is being touted as the FLW Tour answer to Kevin Van Dam. His 2010 season-opening win on Table Rock Lake is offered as evidence of that bold claim. Undoubtedly, Ehrler’s win resembles the style of KVD – while the rest of the field fished painfully slowly with big, heavy jigs, Brent employed a swim grub, crankbait, and jerkbait to dominate the tournament.
