Jo Dee LakeJo Dee Lake’s fifth place finish on the Red River has all the makings of an epic tale. She traveled to uncharted territory, braved big scary spiders, endured a broken digit, and narrowly escaped a boating catastrophe to prevail and finish in the top five in the final WBT event for 2007.

She’s here to tell her tale and share the lessons she learned in patience, perseverance, confidence and the value of playing hunches. Follow the ongoing saga of Jo Dee’s angling career at LadyFisher.com

Scott SuggsScott Suggs won the Forrest Wood Cup (FLW Championship) on Lake Ouachita and went down in history as the first angler to win $1,000,000 in a single bass-fishing tournament. Suggs used home-lake advantage and a unique technique to target suspended bass over deep water. In the end, he overcame a tough bite and a two-fish final day to win the cup. He’s here to tell us how he found the bass, how he caught them and how he’s going to spend at least part of that million bucks. Read all the coverage of the Forrest Wood Cup at FLWOutdoors.com. And be sure to support Tru-Tungsten for helping me get in touch with Scott.

Another Forrest Wood Cup success story comes from BassFeed Pro-Staffer Karyn Sanchez. Karyn just finished 9th among the co-anglers. Karyn will share the techniques that put her in the top 10 and then she’ll look ahead to next year. Keep up with Karyn at KarynSanchez.com.
