Peter T, Terry Scroggins, and Keith Phillips

Peter Thliveros will go down in bass fishing history as the only man to win two Bassmaster Memorials. Unfortunately, BASS has chosen to remove the Memorial and the three other “majors” from the 2008 schedule. So Peter T’s back-to-back Memorial titles will remain undisputed. Peter shares his mixed feelings about the end of the majors, the technique that won him the Memorial this year, and he looks ahead to the Bassmaster Elite events on the Potomac River and Lake Toho.

Then Terry “Big Show” Scroggins talks about his outstanding 2007 season on the Bassmaster Elite Tour, the Bassmaster Southern Tour, and his team win at the Toyota Big Bass Splash event held earlier this year on Lake Fork, Texas. He also provides a sneak peek of his new line of Big Show Signature rods due out soon from Castaway Rods.

Bill Siemantel and Jay Yelas

Bill Siemantel didn’t write the book on bass fishing — he re-wrote it. Siemantel, along with co-author Michael Jones penned what many consider to be the definitive work on big bass fishing, titled Big Bass Zone: Catch Monster Bass. And now Bill has just released a DVD that goes one step beyond the book. Then Jay Yelas, recently crowned 2007 FLW Tour Angler of the Year, checks in from Lake Ouachita, where he is practicing for the FLW Championship. Jay talks about the competition, consistency, and strategy that earned him another AOY title. He also looks ahead to some tough fishing in pursuit of this year’s championship.
