Last week, B.A.S.S. announced that the 2008 Women’s Bassmaster Tour Angler of the Year will qualify to fish the 2009 Bassmaster Classic. The announcement has brought cheers and jeers from various factors of the bass-fishing world. This three-day event pits eight anglers from Texas against eight anglers from Oklahoma (ostensibly) in three distinct fishing formats. In this, the third year of the event, Jordon is confident that his Texas team will capture their third consecutive victory. But Kriet is just as certain that this is Oklahoma’s year.
