Skeet Reese, Bassmaster Angler of the Year
November 6, 2007 by admin
Skeet Reese has said that his win on the Potomac River in August validated his season, and winning the 2007 Angler of the Year title validated his career. Now Skeet is here to talk about the season he says he “couldn’t have scripted any better.” From going head-to-head with KVD, to shedding his “bridesmaid” status, Skeet gives us his take in his usual pull-no-punches style.
He also weighs in on the balance between skill and attitude, discusses his thoughts on the lack of a western swing in the 2008 Bassmaster Elite season, and explains why he considers west-coast anglers to be among the best in the world.

Another great episode.
Well The angler of the Year is one of the most important people in the sport becasue its by there example that all others young ametures and fisherman try to liken themselves after so that they can get to wear that crown. Way to go skeet Im lookin forward to competeing with you if I can ever figure out how to get there.
